Saturday Night Live has been a hallmark of left-wing propaganda for years.
However, they might finally be seeing that their jokes against conservatives and Christians may not be doing the trick anymore.
Recently, the comedy show did a different kind of sketch: one where they made fun of the left, and not just the left, but rather the LGBTQ+ movement.

In this bit, a group of friends are chatting when a pair of men appear with a baby. The group is flabbergasted by the idea that the men “had a baby.”
“Who’s baby is that?” one character asks.
Immediately, the LGBTQ+ couple react to the offense they take from their friends asking how the baby could possibly be theirs. The sketch then runs through a batch of ridiculous stereotypes from these relationships, and how society dare not do anything but fully accept the whole scene as normal, when in reality it is far from it. Conservative commentator, Charlie Kirk, made the point that this sort of sketch coming from SNL was refreshing.
“At this rate I might watch SNL again. The culture is shifting. This is hilarious and promising,” Kirk wrote.
For a show that has long catered to progressive narratives, taking a jab at protected groups on the left—especially the LGBTQ+ community—is a bold and telling move. It suggests that even mainstream media might be starting to grasp that the American public is tired of one-sided, politically charged humor that alienates large swaths of the population.
While it’s unlikely that SNL will completely change, we may be witnessing a pendulum shift, not just in comedy, but in the broader cultural landscape.
