From a stirring performance by Cece Winans and Roman Collins’ rendition of “Come Jesus Come” set the tone for the night. Brandon Lake and Jelly Roll also collaborated together on their “Hard Fought Hallelujah,” a song that testifies to the grace of God through life’s battles.
/**/The top 20 contestants each brought their own spiritual flavor to the stage, choosing songs that spoke to redemption, grace and victory. Carrie Underwood delivered a passionate version of “How Great Thou Art,” while Lionel Richie shared his testimony before performing a heartfelt “Eternity.”
