House’s victims were 72-year-old Beverly Gumm along with her daughter, 32-year-old Christina Combs. House also shot a state trooper and Gumm’s husband, Jerry Gumm, who serves as the pastor of Richmond Road Baptist Church, and Combs’ husband, Randy Combs. The two are stable after being in critical condition.
/**/As the Post reported, House’s friends and family say that he was struggling with domestic issues and was not able to see his daughter.
Previously, House had a criminal history that included violent behavior at law enforcement. He was originally scheduled for a hearing on Monday for domestic violence. According to the Lexington Herald Leader, it is believed that he first went into the church to find his child’s mother who was not present. He then shot and killed Gumm and Combs, the woman’s mother and sister.
