Release Your Kingdom Destiny by Doing These 3 Things

Cast fear and doubt out of your life. Tell the devil he's not welcome.

In Jeremiah 1, Jeremiah’s insecurity prompted him to disqualify himself to do God’s work. His inadequacy and lack of experience made him feel unprepared for his calling.

There are many times we too feel like Jeremiah and feel inadequate for the task in which God is calling us. An old saying has it that “God doesn’t call the equipped, but equips those he calls.” The Complete Jewish Bible says, “I can do all things through him who gives me power” (Phil. 4:13). It is the Spirit who gives us power, and we accomplish the task God is giving us through the Spirit’s power.

We are never unequipped, because through the Spirit’s power we are empowered for every good and perfect work (2 Tim. 3:17). God spoke this to Jeremiah. He told him, “I am with you” (Jer. 1:8) and “I have put My words in your mouth” (Jer. 1:9). Through his Spirit, God works in us and through us and through him we have every good and perfect gift (James 1:17).

Like Jeremiah, we need to stop voicing our disqualification. Unworthiness, fear and insecurity can prevent us from living out our full destiny. If we think about how we are not prepared, instead of trusting God, we live in fear instead of faith. We must bathe ourselves in faith, manifesting the very faith of the Spirit of God that is inside of us.

We must refuse to fear and realize that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18) and the Father’s love for us is perfect. Fear paralyzes, torments and prevents us from speaking out and acting out our spiritual assignment. Fear makes us numb and brings in self-condemnation that we cannot perform the task at hand.

The Bible instructs us to “Cast down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” (2 Cor. 10:5). When fear sets in, you must cast it down and choose faith instead.

God gives each believer kingdom tasks. He anointed Jeremiah’s mouth. He consecrated it and gave him divine authority and inspiration. God also gives us the words to say. and His Spirit leads us into the words to testify and distribute to his people. We need to speak these words forth with faith, boldness and obedience.

God has called each of us to a task as he did Jeremiah. We must do these three things in order to release our destiny:

  • Stop voicing disqualification
  • Obediently, speak God’s Word
  • Cast down our fears

You have the greatest team of three inside of you to accomplish your kingdom task—God the Father, Jesus His Son and the Holy Spirit. Stop voicing disqualification and rely, lean on and trust in this wonderful team!
