I’ve often wondered why gift-giving happens at Christmas and not Easter. I know it’s a tradition that goes back centuries, based on the Magi giving gifts to the Christ child.
But, what greater gift-giving example could we follow than that of Christ, who laid down His life for us? His gift is the very essence of Christianity, and Easter is the most important Christian holiday of the year. So let’s start a new tradition and give a gift at Easter!
