If you are like me, you must be looking over 2017 with great praise unto God. We escaped! We got through it and we overcame.
God didn’t allow tragedy to take us out! The Father didn’t allow the enemy to have his complete way of destruction in our lives. We didn’t have to live under consequences because of our many bad choices, due to the Father’s grace and mercy.
As you reflect, have you made up your mind to take ownership of the things you wanted to happen but didn’t? I believe every experience is a learning lesson; thank God for that!
Join me in going into 2018 with a made-up mind to allow God to have His way in our lives in every way. Allow Him to make the crooked way straight. Allow Him to make a way out of no way! Allow Him to bring forth divine connections for kingdom purposes. It is time for us to be like Jesus in Gethsemane when He prayed, “not as I will, but as You will” (Matt. 26:39).
We must understand that anything we do in the name of the Lord is not by power or might, but by the spirit of God (Zech. 4:6). We must surrender all in 2018! God wants to bless you big in every area of your life! He promised He will do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ask or think (Eph. 3:20-21). He promised He will not withhold any good thing from us (Ps. 84:11).
Now in 2018, trust Him! You have escaped the bondage of the enemy in 2017 and now you are free to enjoy kingdom fruit in 2018! Put down the old! Let it go! Take with you every lesson, make the changes and keep your focus on Jesus! So much is waiting for you on the other side of 2018. Cross over with expectations of God’s best!
