Michael Brown says there is an undeniable demonic attack on the United States.
In his new book, Jezebel’s War Against America, he says the horde of spirits behind that concerted attack are the same ones that influenced Queen Jezebel of the Old Testament.
“We see it in the rise of idolatry in America, the turning away from God, the Creator, to the following and worshipping of created things,” Brown says on the “Charisma News” podcast. “We see it in the sexual seduction of America, the epidemic rise of porn on the internet and the plague that that brings. We see it in the rise of witchcraft and sorcery. We see it in the rise of radical feminism. We see it in the baby-killing spirit, the radical ‘Shout Your Abortion’ movement. We see it in these many different fronts.”
In 2 Kings 9-10, God raises up a strong leader named Jehu to overthrow Jezebel and break her grip on the nation of Israel. Brown says this is a similar picture to what God is doing through President Donald Trump right now.
“We’re not saying that this is a prophecy about Donald Trump, but … Trump has been likened to a Jehu figure,” Brown says. “… Jehu was not a political insider. He was a guy who was considered reckless. He had a zeal for God’s purposes on the one hand, but on the other hand, he was a lot of collateral damage, like a bull in a china shop.
“… So what’s the connection here? It is ultimately Jehu who comes into final conflict with Jezebel and ultimately brings her down. Again, we’re not talking about a person; we’re not talking about an individual. We’re talking about spiritual forces. But the Trump presidency has brought into full light the spirit of Jezebel.
“The Trump presidency has brought out the women’s marches, not just the women who consider Trump misogynistic and have issues with him over that, but women who want to blow up the White House, witches who are hexing Trump and hexing the patriarchy, the most radical of the pro-abortion, feminist movements, the women pounding the doors of the Supreme Court for their right to have abortions during the Capital hearings. So Trump is a Jehu-like figure who has come into direct conflict with the Jezebels of this age, and that’s why everything is now on full display.”
