Could this be the missing element of deliverance ministry?
You’ve tried to obtain freedom, and have attended countless services and tried different deliverance methods. It seems as though you take two steps forward and one step back. I am purposely stating one step back because you aren’t going all the way back, but you aren’t processing forward as you’d like to be. You put in the time and effort, however, in your eyes, you should be further ahead by now. I agree.
As a deliverance minister I’ve seen people press through and not get their breakthrough. But are we missing an element in the ministry of deliverance? Before we were sold out to Jesus, we were in sin, generational or otherwise. We were born into sin and participated in sin and now we must break agreement with sin.
As we participate in evil deeds, hang on to rejection and act out in control we have come into agreement with the ways of the enemy. Some of us chose to purposely engage in sin and some of us were subconsciously aware that we were participating with the enemy by not pressing through to our breakthrough. In the spiritual realm we came into agreement with evil spirits and the demonic realm by doing nothing about our situation, not laying aside negative thoughts and changing behavior patterns.
The demonic realm considers this legal rights they have to harass you. How do we dislodge those legal rights and break agreement with the enemy and the hold he has over us? We need to declare out audibly, “I break agreement.”
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Prov. 18:21).
We need to speak out and decree, “I break agreement” with that in which we have unknowingly and willfully come into agreement. When we profess and confess, we audibly break agreement and the enemy has to deactivate and cancel all demonic intrusion sent against us. His legal rights are now broken because we declared into the spiritual atmosphere that we are no longer going to participate.
You can do it right now. Say audibly, “I break agreement (insert what you need to break agreement with) in Jesus’ name.”
Now repent, release it and receive the forgiveness Jesus offers. Keep doing it until you feel a spiritual shift or release. Confess the things that are activated in your life that shouldn’t be. Walk in your authority and dominion, and show the devil you mean business!
