Do the Jewish feasts foretell the events that will occur during the end times? They do. And they are a shadow of things to come. Think about that for a moment. What is a shadow? If I were walking down the street on a sunny day, you might see my shadow before you saw me. The feasts of the Lord are a foreshadowing of things that will happen.
Passover was a shadow. When Jesus came, He redeemed us from all of our sins and became the eternal Lamb of God and the full atonement, once and for all. Pentecost was also a shadow. Until the Holy Spirit came in an explosion of power on the Day of Pentecost, the anointing lasted only for one year. Now the Holy Spirit in us is ours forever.
The fall feasts are also shadows of prophetic events. Elul and Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, are shadows of the rapture. As believers, we will spend the seven years of the Tribulation not on Earth but celebrating the marriage supper of the Lamb with Jesus. Jesus will return during the Feast of Tabernacles at the Second Coming. This is why God gives us signs, so we can read them and be ready.
