In July of 2020, the Lord gave me a very unique and confusing vision that has been filling me with wonder for an entire year. I was drifting off to sleep as I saw something flash in my mind. It was an image of a black basketball jersey, and it said “Tokyo” on the front in bright glowing gold letters. Beneath this word was a headshot of Donald Trump, and he was wearing a large gold crown. I immediately woke up and couldn’t get this picture out of my head. I began to pray about it and felt at that time that I had come to a conclusion about what it meant.
I knew that the Summer Olympic Games had been postponed but were supposed to take place in Tokyo in 2020. I recognized that it was a basketball jersey, which is a Summer Olympic sport. President Trump was wearing a gold crown which represents authority, so at the time I thought that it meant he would be elected president in the summer of 2021. So during July 2020, when I had the vision, I shared some thoughts about it on my social media page. Here is what I posted:
“I believe that the Lord is saying that Donald Trump will still be the president during the Olympics in 2021, and that he will visit Tokyo and attend some events. He will be treated like a king during this visit. I believe we will also be seeing signs of President Trump helping create a greater bond between America and Japan, and it will probably take place around the time of the Olympics. I believe that our President has been chosen for such a time as this and God is not finished with him. God is working on his character and God is calling out the destiny that He placed in our President’s heart. Let this be an encouragement to you. Even if you are not planning on voting for him, if he wins, let this be a reminder that maybe, just maybe, God still uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise.”
I posted this on July 23, 2020. I found out almost a year later that the Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony would be on July 23, 2021. Now, one year later, I recognize that it did not take place exactly as I thought it would, but I do believe that during this time surrounding the Olympic Games, we will see incredible happenings in response to the election and that God is bringing redemption to His chosen leader. God is exposing corruption and restoring integrity in our land.
