Sometimes God surprises us.
Back in 2007, the late Kim Clement prophesied that the television program “The View” would speak exactly what the Lord would want them to say. “What I want you to say!” was Kim’s word. And in a very strange turn of events, “The View” just may have done that when speaking about the dismantling of the Department of Education.
Whoopi Goldberg said on the show, “…maybe some of what’s happening, like they’re trying to take apart the Department of Education, maybe that is a good thing,” Goldberg says.

Goldberg, of all people, just gave a compliment to a conservative presidential administration. That is highly unusual.
“Maybe it will force us to make sure that our kids actually get what they need,” she continues. “Maybe it’ll force us to go to our state and say, ‘Listen, I want to make sure since you’re taking all this money from my taxes, I want to make sure that my kids get exactly what they need.'”
Her next statement is even more inspiring.
“I don’t have to wait for the government to do it. We can do it. This is now in our hands. This is in our hands and it’s going to be tough.”
While no one would have expected Whoopi Goldberg to echo sentiments that align with a conservative viewpoint—especially on a platform like “The View”—this moment is a striking reminder that God can use anyone, anywhere, at any time to speak truth.
Whether through prophets or pundits, when God wants to get a message across, He will make sure it’s heard.
