By watching Israel and God’s people and reaction to them worldwide, we can know times and seasons so we understand God’s will in the earth.
When I first met Holy Spirit in 1972, I was visited for three days. The Lord revealed Himself to me as the God of Israel. As I learned His Word, there was never a question in my heart about Israel being His firstborn nation. Since 1972 I have carefully observed God’s love and discipline for His nation and how Israel continues to reestablish their life and war for their boundaries. I have watched how they war against terrorism and pray that we do the same. I have watched the hatred and acts of violence set against them. I have warred in the Spirit and prayed with them as season after season they establish their political government. However, I have watched God’s hand of favor on them also.

During this strategic season of “passing over,” soften your heart. Remember Israel.
I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you [abundantly], and make your name great (exalted, distinguished); and you shall be a blessing [a source of great good to others]; and I will bless (do good for, benefit) those who bless you, and I will curse [that is, subject to My wrath and judgment] the one who curses (despises, dishonors, has contempt for) you. And in you all the families (nations) of the earth will be blessed. . . . I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your descendants like the stars of the heavens and like the sand on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies [as conquerors].
—Genesis 12:2–3; 22:17
He who keeps Israel will neither slumber [briefly] nor sleep [soundly]. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your life. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in [everything that you do] from this time forth and forever.
—Psalm 121:4–8
The Lord spoke to Moses for Pharaoh and said, “I raised you up for this very purpose, to display My power in [dealing with] you, and so that My name would be proclaimed in all the earth” (Rom. 9:17)!
The crisis that we’re in, that the nations are in, hasn’t surprised God. Pharaoh hardened his heart over and over. However, after he resisted the Lord, God hardened Pharaoh’s heart. Keep your heart turned toward the God of Israel. Know His Son. Embrace His Spirit.
