Jimmy Swaggart’s family provided a heartfelt and emotional update on the televangelist during a Wednesday night service.
As the Christian Post reported, Swaggart’s son, Donnie, shared during the service that the family is currently “in the process of making some very difficult and hard decisions.”

Donnie Swaggart also mentioned that more family members are coming into town right now.
“We have called all of the family to come into town, the grandkids that haven’t been here, and Joanna and Cliff for a family meeting on Friday,” Donnie said, calling this heartbreaking medical situation “a tough time.”
As the Post noted, Donnie said that right now “we are facing the end,” and are in need of “a miracle from the Lord.”
“The family, we’re strong, and as I said, we will be having a meeting with the entire family,” he continued. “The next couple of days will be hard days with the things we have to discuss.”
As the Shreveport Times noted, ministry spokesperson Megan Kelly told reporters that Swaggart “is in the same condition” and that there had been “no change.”
“He is currently in ICU surrounded by his family. There’s still been no change. We are still in a holding pattern.”

I was in the same position in 2013 with my husband.
Pastor Swaggert is going to get his crown and be resting from his work. My 6 children and myself are . Be products of his ministry , encouragement and we will never forget him. My prayers are with all the family.

It is a very hard time, it’s heart breaking to think the Vessel that the Lord used to bring me back to church through his telle ministry. I cannot bear to think he is in this place. I have watched on tv …Jimmy Swaggart in Ohio, Illinois and Texas.
I his younger days …he was a firebrand of a preacher but as we all age we calm down , somewhat.
He has put out some awesome dvds and may his family be blessed by Hid in these trying times.

Praying for you all Donnie I totally understand how you feel my dad went to be with Jesus 12-22-2022 it’s stool hard to handle at times but dad always had a phrase Praise the Lord anyhow no matter what we r facing in life dad would say that n I find myself saying it daily. I grew up watching him on television . We would watch a early Sunday morning crusade and then head off to our church. My husband and I watch SBN and love the preaching. We are praying for the Swaggart family and I know Jimmy is holding on for them. God is in control and we trust in him as our savior, redeemer, counselor and mighty God. He is sovereign and he gives unending mercy and grace .

I began following pastor Jimmy Swaggart not many years through his Music, from Africa Uganda, I have always been touched and followed him since then, i recently watched his birthday and the new song wasted years, my prayers are with entire church and family I can’t explain to you how his sermons have changed my life and my brother Robert, we both listen to him and pray for him. It’s tough to face a parent’s illness because we looked up to them when we were young and they seemed to know so much about everything, and they were so strong too. the Lord will give you grace comfort and strength to get through this Journey.

Jimmy swaggart is the best I watched him through 1970 all the way up to the present my favorite part is watches crusades I always love to get a chance to meet him I never got a chance to meet him yet but I love to get a chance to me Kim and Donnie swaggart he’s always in my prayers when we do a prayer to together his name or out works in a good mysterious way.
