Is end times danger already brewing around us?
In a compelling interview on Daystar Television, evangelist Perry Stone dives into the early chapters of Revelation, arguing that key signs of the end, particularly the first four seals, may already be taking shape before our eyes.
Stone begins by highlighting the significance of the seven churches mentioned in Revelation, emphasizing their role in understanding the timing of the tribulation. “The seven churches that He spoke to and their pastors have to be present for those seals to be broken,” Stone explains. He associates the rapture with the resurrection of believers, asserting that the seal judgments will begin only after the church is caught up to meet Christ in the air.

However, Stone adds a crucial caveat. “We could actually be here when the Antichrist is present and when the wars are breaking out,” he warns, noting that the presence of early tribulation signs does not necessarily mean the rapture has already occurred or that the church won’t witness initial chaos.

Stone then walks through the first four seals, often called the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The first seal introduces a rider on a white horse. This rider, however, is not Jesus, but a deceiver. “He comes with a crown and a bow, but no arrows are mentioned. It’s as though he’s coming as a person of peace… he’s a mimicker of Christ,” says Stone.
The second seal brings a red horse, symbolizing global warfare. “That rider will take peace away from the earth and is given a great sword,” Stone notes. He draws parallels to modern-day nations like Russia and China, whose emblems and policies align with the biblical imagery of the red horse.
The third seal unleashes the black horse, bringing famine and economic collapse. According to Stone, the biblical text indicates that “a loaf of bread will cost you a day’s wages,” underscoring how fragile the global food supply could become. He references current disruptions in farming, food production, and supply chains as early indicators.
The fourth seal introduces a pale, or more accurately, green, horse. “That color in the Greek represents a sickly, deadly green,” Stone explains. “It symbolizes death by sword, hunger and plague.” He connects this imagery to escalating health crises and natural disasters already sweeping across the globe.
Stone also touches on the fifth seal, where the souls of martyrs appear under the altar in heaven. “These are the people who didn’t take the mark of the beast and who were dying in the tribulation period,” he says. He clarifies that this doesn’t prove the church is still on earth, but rather confirms that others are coming to faith during this period and paying for it with their lives.

As chaos builds globally, Stone challenges believers to remain watchful. “Things are getting worse with each seal,” he says. “It’s a progression, one thing leads to another.”
Though Stone leans toward a pre-tribulation rapture view, his analysis leaves room for the possibility that the church may experience the early rumblings of judgment. As global tensions rise and prophetic signs intensify, believers are urged to stay spiritually alert. Whether we are on the threshold of the tribulation or already in its early stages, the message is clear: now is the time to draw close to Christ, stand firm in truth and live ready for His return.
