Destroying the works of the devil. There are nights that are so powerful that it beggars the imagination. This was such a night. We have no doubt that the news of what happened tonight is all over town.
Catherine Mullins and the worship team had an explosive anointing on their singing. They took everyone up into the glory!
Because of that, I could immediately win souls. After a short exhortation I called lost souls to be saved. And once again we witnessed the power of God bringing in a great harvest.

After our volunteers ministered to the new converts,
I interviewed a lady named Faline. The audience gasped when she told of the word of knowledge that brought her healing. He was paralyzed from the neck down, bound to a wheelchair for years and was totally healed in Los Angeles.
Shouts rang out
I began preaching a message entitled Destroying the Works of the Devil. Here is a summary of what I said to them:
We are all concerned about the spread of evil. But one of the biggest reasons it spread is that the church was tricked off the frontline.
Inventing myriads of little ‘purposes’ took us away from the grand purpose: the kingdom of God. And one of the biggest reasons we were missing in action was a strange application of the book The Purpose Driven Life.
Instead of looking upward to find God, we looked inward to find “fulfillment.”
Suddenly millions of believers were injected with a therapeutic model from the world instead of the military model from the Bible. The results were truly devastating.
Inventing myriads of little ‘purposes’ took us away from the grand purpose: the kingdom of God.
We became our own version of Isaiah 53:6, “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way…”
Picture a Marine drill sergeant growling this question to a recruit: “Why did you join this man’s Marine Corps?” Now imagine if the recruit said, “To find my purpose.” The sergeant would scream, “You have no purpose! Only the Marine Corps has a purpose! What you have is an assignment within that purpose!”
And now we know who we are. We are destroyers of the works of the devil. That is what you are. This is precisely the case with us and Jesus Christ. He has a purpose. We have an assignment within that purpose.
First John 3:8 tells us the purpose: “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.”
And now we know who we are. We are destroyers of the works of the devil. That is what you are.
Moreover, when evil strikes the true warrior of God appeals to heaven.
Peter understood this. when the church was threatened by evil he, along with the church, cried out to God saying:
“Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”
There is nothing bolder than love
Just because signs and wonders are controversial, that is no reason we should be afraid to ask God for them. When they ordered Peter to stop working miracles, he prayed for more miracles (Acts 4:29, 30).
We should not shy away from miracles because they are controversial. We need to understand that they are controversial because they are so desperately needed.” Peter prayed for boldness out of love. There is nothing bolder than love.
Now it is our turn to appeal to heaven—to become destroyers of evil. We must change from an audience into an army.

What happened next under our tent felt like a continuation of the book of Acts. Suddenly, miracles were everywhere. The tent became a temple of the Holy Spirit.
What happened next under our tent was, well, forgive the term, mind-boggling. This unworthy servant called out a woman. I told her that she had a growth, neck, back, shoulder and leg pain, and her struggle to walk. I went on to describe her dizziness and diminishing eyesight.
Jesus removed it all! And that ignited miracles all over the tent. By the end of the night there were scores of people healed. What a night!
Now, we come to the last night. And from every indication it is going to be absolutely historic.
