As we step into July—the midpoint of the year—God is inviting His people to embrace a new season. This is not just about the turning of a calendar page but a spiritual shift that calls for bold faith, intentional reflection, and prophetic realignment.
In a new video, author and prophetic voice John Eckhardt declares that this month is the time we will see God do a great work across the earth.

“And I do decree Isaiah 42:9, that the former things have come to pass and new things God says, ‘Do I declare before they spring forth? I tell you of them.’” Eckhardt reminds listeners that “God is the God of a new thing,” pointing to Isaiah 65:17–18: “Behold, I create new heavens and a new earth. Rejoice and be glad in that which I create, for I create Jerusalem a rejoicing and a people of joy.”
This season of newness isn’t limited to spiritual renewal—it touches every area of life. “Begin to believe God for something new to happen in your life financially, in your business, your ministry, your accounts,” Eckhardt encourages, declaring it’s time to “believe that as we come into this new month, that it’s a new season for you.”

As July 1 marked the halfway point of the year, his message focuses on the importance of strategic midyear reflection. “Sometimes during the year, when you get to the midpoint… it’s in the middle that people become discouraged, they become frustrated… Sometimes in the middle, things look dark.” But this is precisely why “the middle is a very important time.”
Using the metaphor of a sports game, Eckhardt continues, “You play the first half, and then in the middle of the game… they make adjustments. Maybe things are not going well in the first half… they’ve seen some things in the first half that the other team was exploiting.” His takeaway is clear: “The best coaches are the ones that know how to make adjustments at halftime.”
These adjustments aren’t just for those who are struggling. “Maybe things are going well. Maybe you don’t have to make an adjustment… If it’s not broke, don’t change it, don’t fix it.” But for others, it’s a wake-up call: “Sometimes what you’re doing is not working, and you’re just hoping it’s going to work.”
Eckhardt offers practical reflection: “What areas of your life do you need to make adjustments in?… Do you need to rearrange your priorities?… Do you need to develop some new relationships or go in a new direction?” This prophetic insight challenges listeners to take inventory so that “the next six months of the year [can] be prosperous, successful, and for us to break through.”

In closing, Eckhardt encourages believers to press on, regardless of current circumstances: “You’re not going to stay in that storm… You’re going to come out of it. And the dawn is going to come… Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” As the seventh month begins, the declaration is clear: “You’re moving into new things… It’s a new season.”
