/**/Ephesians opens with a powerful truth: “He has granted us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places” (Eph. 1:3). What are these spiritual blessings? “Walking in soundness of mind, walking in peace, walking in God’s divine order and shalom, in love, in power… all the fruits of the Spirit,” Schneider explained. These blessings flow from the Holy Spirit within us, “overflowing with the rivers of living water.”
As Schneider points out, this is why Paul prayed in Ephesians that God would give us “a spirit of wisdom and revelation… and that we would understand the power that’s at work in our lives, which is the same power that raised Christ from the dead.”
