There is no question about it: We must be living in the last days.

The pride agenda continues to permeate throughout the world, leading people astray from the truth. This dark system of confusion has crept all across the globe, which was displayed firsthand during last Saturday’s pride parade in Belfast, Ireland, as the event included an imitator of Jesus.

According to the Christian Post, a man part of the event caused quite a stir as he dressed up as Jesus, even wearing a crown of thorns.

As the Post noted, the man dressed as Jesus wore a giant gold cross in a photo between two people, one sporting the transgender flag, and another who wore a rainbow halo.

Writer Adam James Pollock posted the photo from the event to X, writing, “The Belfast Pride parade this weekend featured an individual dressed as Jesus, complete with a mock crown of thorns, dancing down the street and giving high-fives to supporters. I am so incredibly tired of this nonsense, and so sick of how normal attacks on Christianity are.”

As believers, we cannot afford to grow numb to this level of open mockery. To portray Jesus—the Son of God, our Redeemer—in such a disrespectful and distorted way is not merely offensive; it’s a blatant spiritual provocation. This kind of display is not just cultural expression—it is part of a wider agenda that seeks to normalize rebellion against God and desensitize the world to sin. We are not called to conform to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds and to stand as beacons of truth and righteousness.

Christians must remember that we are ambassadors of light in a world growing increasingly dark. The gospel doesn’t bend to culture—it confronts it with love, truth and the power of redemption. We are not called to blend in; we are called to call others out—out of deception, out of confusion, out of sin and into the glorious light of Christ.
