In a heartfelt message shared online, Alwyn Uys is urging believers to place their full trust in God as they step into seasons of transition, uncertainty and significant life decisions.
Uys recounted a moment of divine clarity while driving through a region of Southern Africa known as the Kingdom of Mountains. “As I was daydreaming and looking out the window at the mountains stretched before us, I felt the peace of the Holy Spirit come upon me.”
In that quiet, reflective moment, Uys says God reminded him of the personal journey they had walked together—past battles, victories and seasons of hardship. “He was highlighting to me the fact that I’ve placed my trust in Him through it all,” Uys shared. “And a verse dropped in my heart right at that moment, Psalm 20:7.”

This verse reads: “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.”
The message quickly became more than a personal reflection. Uys felt a strong conviction that this was a word meant for others standing at the edge of major decisions or uncertain next steps. “God is calling you to trust Him in this next season,” he said. “Not to place your trust in job security, a 401(k), relationships or possessions, but to trust Him fully.”
Uys emphasized that while God did not reveal the specific direction for what’s next, the call is clear: radical trust. “I had this impression,” he added, “that there are some people on the brink of making such huge and impactful decisions that if this doesn’t work out, you’ll fall flat on your face. But God is saying, ‘Trust in Me, and I will not disappoint you.’”
The message concludes with an encouragement for those wrestling with doubt or fear about what lies ahead. “Go ahead and take the leap,” he urged. “If you trust Him, He will not disappoint you. May that bring peace over your life, your situation and the decision you need to make.”
