Evangelist and prophetic teacher Perry Stone released two powerful visions—one a prophetic dream and the other a wake-up call for the nation—that he believes carry a warning for the United States.
Collectively, they invoke themes of biblical prophecy, spiritual urgency and practical readiness, especially in regards to tsunamis.
After the terrifying earthquake that hit Russia and sent panic of tsunami warnings to the Pacific, including to Hawaii, Alaska and the western coastline of the United States, these prophetic insights just may speak to what is coming.

A Dream at Dawn: Water Rising on the Bus
Stone describes waking early one morning—he pins the date as July 30, 2024—from a striking, hyper-realistic dream. In it he is aboard a charter bus heading toward a youth event, accompanied by his office director and a group of young people. Stone recalls:
“As we were moving toward these dormitories… I’m now looking out the right side of the window and I’m seeing now where water that was not there is coming in and is up to the road,” he said.

Suddenly he realizes a tsunami has struck. “I said, ‘Oh my goodness, a tsunami has happened, a tsunami has happened… I saw a massive wave,’” Stone says, with concern that its height might engulf the bus. After days of prayer and reflection, he concluded this experience was not symbolic—it was a direct warning he senses applies to the United States.
He believes America’s past moral and legal decisions may have delayed consequences, but warns: “If the United States… begin to continue to legalize what God considers… our judgments will end up being three things…” and these include “coastal tsunamis.”
Not If, But When: A Detailed Vision of Coastal Impact
This second account, published in February 2025, presents a more vivid and broader vision along U.S. coastlines. Stone begins: “Recently, perhaps the most vivid and clear and detailed tsunami experience occurred to me very early in the morning several weeks ago.”
He frames his warning through the lens of Luke 21:24‑27, connecting the “sea and the waves roaring” passage to actual natural calamities. Stone explains that in the original Greek, the word for “roaring” refers to an echo-like reverberation from the sea—something he interprets as a literal prophetic sign.
In his vision, Stone finds himself in a coastal city attending a ministerial conference with peers like Jentezen Franklin and Tony Scott. He overhears a child ask:
“Daddy, did you hear about the big earthquake that happened?” Moments later, “a massive tsunami appeared in the distance.”
