Recently, I was at a conference and in the middle of worship I heard these words, “silent treatment”. So as I continued to worship, I asked the Lord, “Why did you say ‘silent treatment’?”
The Lord answered and said this, “Many people are believing for big things in their life. They are believing for the right doors to open and the right alignments to happen. They are tired, weary and feel like they have been getting the silent treatment from heaven about their promises. But this is not the case at all.”
Then I felt the joy and gladness of the Lord come over me. It was almost as if I could hear the Lord laughing and saying, “If My people only understood how much I am building for them, how I am putting things into place and positioning them, then they would not think this way.” I feel that there is a strong stirring going on in the heavens. This is a time that the Lord is preparing the church in America and around the world for something greater. This greater work that God is preparing us for will start within individuals.
There is a process that always lead to a promise. Whenever we feel like God is being silent or there is silence from Him towards your prayers, remember this, your breakthrough is going to be greater than you could ever imagine. Be encouraged today, people of God! God is not giving you the silent treatment, but He is preparing things for you behind the scenes. The door to your breakthrough is about to swing wide open and when it does, the time that you have waited in what seemed like silence will be worth it. You will understand that the process that you were going through before the breakthrough was training and equipping you for what is next.
Throughout the Bible, we see many in the middle of their processes. When David was in his cave season and when John spent his season in the wilderness, this is when they grew in God. We can look at different people who are very successful in life, ministry and business and think they just have it better than we do. But every successful person has been through those seasons of process, of being in the wilderness, and that’s how that got to where they are today. God cares more about who you are than where He is taking you. God wants to make sure you are strong enough to carry the promises that He has given.
Remember, the silent treatment you think you’re getting from heaven is not the truth. God is not ignoring you, He is preparing something great for you. Get ready for your doors of breakthrough to swing wide open. {eoa}
