Forrest Frank, the Christian singer and viral sensation behind hits like “Good Day,” “UP!” and “Your Way’s Better,” revealed over the weekend that he broke his back in a skateboarding accident.
“Two days ago, I fractured my L3 and L4,” Frank announced in a social media post.

A security camera video — seemingly from Frank’s own doorbell — captured the fall, showing the singer crashing off his skateboard and landing hard on the concrete sidewalk.
Frank’s fans were quick to react. One viewer commented, “How will you make fire music with a fractured back?” Frank replied, “I don’t know. Let’s find out.”
While recovering in bed, the Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning artist remained undeterred. “I think I’m gonna just sing whatever pops out, and I’m gonna build the chords around it,” he said.

True to form, Frank went on to write and record an entire song in just a couple of hours, despite his injuries.
