Best-selling author Joel Rosenberg says a growing number of young evangelicals are turning against Israel, in part due to what he describes as a lack of biblical balance and compassion from older Christian leaders.
“Young evangelicals are watching and they don’t like what they see,” Rosenberg said during a recent episode of The Rosenberg Report on TBN. “They feel like their elders are being so pro-Israel and ignoring the plight of Palestinians altogether.”

Rosenberg emphasized that showing Christlike compassion for Palestinians does not mean compromising biblical truth.
“We’re supposed to love our neighbor… we’re supposed to love our enemy,” he said. “That means having a heart of compassion for the lost sheep of Gaza, not just the lost sheep of Israel.”

He also noted that many Christian schools are failing to teach the full biblical narrative regarding Israel, and warned that some young people have never truly come to faith in Christ.
