According to NPR, Holly Zabka of Provident, which is a subsidiary for Christian music through Sony, expressed how Christianity is changing the landscape of pop music right now.
“This is the most exciting time to be in Christian music…I don’t think we’ve ever been in this season of opportunity.”
As NPR reported, 2024 was the biggest year yet for contemporary Christian music on Spotify, accumulating a “60% growth rate globally over a five-year period…” Right now, Forrest Frank’s “Your Way’s Better” and Brandon Lake’s “Hard Fought Hallelujah” collaboration with Jelly Roll continue to make waves on the Billboard Hot 100.
Does this mean we could see the masses come to know God?
This moment in history is a powerful reminder that God’s message will not be contained or limited by traditional boundaries. When the melodies of hope and faith resonate beyond church walls and into the lives of millions, the love of Jesus becomes impossible to ignore.
