As Snipe shared, director Dallas Jenkins revealed he sustained a head injury on set. Posting about the aftermath on social media, Jenkins described the incident: “I was sending off a voice note and as I was clicking send, I just walked directly into a big machine and just drilled myself—went flat on my back.”

Although the injury resulted in a deep gash, Jenkins reassured fans that there were no serious complications. “Didn’t see stars, didn’t black out, no concussive symptoms, so I was fine,” he said. After noticing blood on the floor, he called for medical attention. “The doctor showed up and gave me stitches in between one of our shots, and I’m fine. I will be fine. I promise.” He added with humor, “Just didn’t want to lose too much hair for my daughter’s wedding coming up.”
Snipe also shared posts and additional footage about the show’s filming for season six. Several disciples—including Thomas, Andrew, Simon the Zealot and Matthew—have been featured in recent shoot days. One emotionally charged scene shows the disciples in heated discussion about how to respond to the danger looming over Jesus and those close to Him. While some urge caution and prayer, others push for immediate action, particularly out of concern for the women who are courageously following Jesus even as the threat of persecution increases.
As Snipe shared, Nicodemus is also set to return. Actor Eric Avari was seen on the Texas set for the first time this season, joining scenes filmed in what appears to be his character’s study—an ornate room last seen in season five. A cart filled with incense, spices and precious burial items was also spotted, suggesting preparations are underway for Jesus’ burial. This strongly implies the involvement of Nicodemus and Yousef in these sacred final moments.
