On Saturday, July 12, 2025, there was a public, non-livestreamed viewing held for friends and family to come and remember the late Swaggart. On social media, the Swaggart family posted photos from the event and gave a powerful thank you to those that attended.

SonLife Broadcasting Network then livestreamed a celebration of life service on Sunday July 13, 2025 for people all over the world to see. During this time Donnie Swaggart, Jimmy Swaggart’s son, gave a powerful opening message, where he noted his father as “America’s greatest evangelist.”
Inspiring family speakers, including Swaggart’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren discussed his marvelous contribution to the Kingdom of God and how he impacted their lives to know Jesus.
Clips of Swaggart’s life and music along with salvation messages took center-stage, and his grandson, Matthew shared what his final words were on this earth before entering heaven: “Frances, let’s get up; it’s time to go to church.” As Donnie Swaggart powerfully concluded: “I am proud to be the son of Jimmy Swaggart.”
