“Every passing celebrity reminds us of the same truth,” Comfort said. “It is appointed unto man once to die, and after this, the judgment.”
Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, rose to fame in the 1980s as the face of the World Wrestling Federation. But after years of personal struggles, moral failures and public controversy, the wrestling superstar appeared to experience a spiritual transformation.
“I just totally surrendered, man,” Hogan said in a past interview. “I started going back to church every weekend and got baptized… And now I just tell my big God about my little problems.”
Comfort said Hogan’s faith decision is part of a broader wake-up call to Christians and non-believers alike.
“People are dying. Eternity hangs in the balance,” Comfort said. “We’re all on death row, metaphorically speaking. This life may have air conditioning and a nice roof, but it’s still a holding cell. Death is proof that God is deadly serious about sin.”
Hulk Hogan’s passing is more than the end of a public figure’s story—it is a reminder of life’s most urgent truth. In a world gripped by fame, distraction, and fleeting success, his final chapter points beyond the spotlight to the only legacy that truly matters: eternity.
