New York Times bestselling author Rabbi Jonathan Cahn is releasing a movie on May 12 that convincingly parallels God’s judgment on ancient Israel with God’s judgment on America.
In his new film, The Harbingers of Things to Come, Cahn outlines how God warned us with the “first strike” of 9/11, how America prophetically defied God by refusing to repent, and how our refusal has led to judgment and great shakings.
Cahn believes that legislation like AB 2223 in California, a bill that restricts investigations and penalties for the killing of infants up to 28 days old, is another warning of impending judgment for America.
“We are defying God to the point where … now we’re trying to legalize the killing of babies,” says Cahn.
He says that abortion and infanticide play a vital part in his new film because many of the judgments that are happening to America are related to this issue.
Cahn says he shows in the movie how the mysteries of the harbingers have continued to unfold since the writing of his first book, The Harbinger. He takes viewers across America to mysterious islands with clues and signs and shows the significance of events that have happened in the years since 9/11.
“In the last days of ancient Israel, there were warnings, harbingers that appeared in the land warning them of coming judgment,” says Cahn. “The stunning thing is those same harbingers, nine specific harbingers, have now appeared on American soil starting with 9/11.”
Because he wants to get the word out about what God has shown him, Cahn is making the movie available on May 12 and May 19 in theaters through Fathom Events. And from May 13 through June 13, he’ll allow churches to show it to their congregations through Faith Content Network. “It is more critical now that we’re praying, that we’re moving, that we’re knowing because these are dangerous times. It’s not stopping,” says Cahn.
In regard to AB 2223, the Infanticide Bill, Cahn explains, “It shows you where we are and where it’s heading.” He continues, “In ancient Israel, one of the things that happened as they headed to judgment is they offered up their children as sacrifices, and we have offered up 60 million children.”
