Jordan Harmon of Angel Studios highlighted the success as a win for faith, family and uplifting storytelling—remarking that audiences will support “stories that matter.”
As of May 22, The King of Kings grossed $66.9 million globally, becoming one of the highest‑earning Bible-based animated films ever. The Kennedy Center screening, offered free with popcorn, drew attendees across ages and backgrounds. The center added a second showing due to rapid ticket demand.
