Sometimes the most unexpected things happen. For one woman, that included coming back to life after she was declared dead and placed inside of her coffin.

According to Fox News, the 88-year-old Czech Republic citizen was discovered unconscious in her bed by her husband who called for emergency services to help his wife. However, she did not move and or show any signs of life. Paramedics and the coroner both confirmed that she was dead. It was after the woman was already placed in her casket by the undertakers that she showed signs of life.
The husband of the woman told Czech outlet Blesk “the workers transferred her to the coffin, and when they were right here in the apartment in the hallway by the door, they found out she was alive.”
Following this shocking discovery, the elderly woman was sent to the hospital. It is believed that she underwent something known as the Lazarus Effect, which typically happens when someone receives CPR following a cardiac arrest, and was declared to have passed away.

This astonishing account echoes the words of Jesus in John 11:25: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.” In a moment that defied logic and science, life returned where death had seemingly won. It’s a powerful reminder that with God, even the most irreversible situations are never beyond His reach. When human understanding ends, divine intervention begins.
