Divine interruptions are normal occurrences in kingdom life — those moments when God speaks a profound word to you that shifts you into a completely different kingdom assignment that you never would’ve imagined or planned on your own.
It’s fun to see how God orchestrates things. He takes the unlikely ones and places them into unlikely positions of immediate or eventual influence in areas outside of their educational backgrounds or experiences. When these moments happen, it can feel scary or intimidating but when God invites you into something, you can trust that He has equipped you to partner with Him to get it done!
Aamon Ross’ story is a great example of this. Aamon is a businessman with a successful background in sales and zero interest in politics, yet after a profound encounter with God at the Great Wall of China, he found himself in the political arena as a campaign manager for a first-time candidate running for governor of Oklahoma.
Aamon now leads Kingdom in Politics, a movement with a mission to inspire the global church to develop kingdom-minded leaders to take their next steps in running for political office.
