With visible excitement and a resolute tone, evangelist Isaiah Saldivar took to his platform this week to deliver what he called “breaking news” for Christians across America.
“This is amazing news. If you are a Christian, this is something to celebrate,” Saldivar said in response to the U.S. Senate and House votes advancing a bill that would strip Planned Parenthood of federal Medicaid funding. “One of the greatest sins right now in the world, and for sure our generation, is abortion,” he declared. “Abortion is the greatest sin of the hour.”

The legislation, dubbed the “big beautiful bill,” includes broad tax cuts, support for military and border security and, most notably, the long-anticipated effort to defund Planned Parenthood. According to Saldivar, this is more than just politics, it’s spiritual warfare.
“Planned Parenthood would be defunded. This was to me the number one thing I prayed for when it came to politics and the number one thing I vote for,” he said. “This is going to save millions of lives. Literally millions of lives.”
The popular preacher didn’t shy away from calling abortion what he believes it is: a modern form of ancient idolatry. “This was going on in the Bible. And God said, ‘Don’t sacrifice your kids to the gods of Molech.’ And this spirit of Molech is still around today. It’s just disguised itself as abortion.”
As Planned Parenthood leaders reacted with public statements of alarm, Saldivar viewed their distress as confirmation of the bill’s spiritual impact. “You love to hear this from the CEO of Planned Parenthood. You love to hear this,” he said. “They’re mad because this happened. Be mad all you want. This is a massive victory.”
Addressing criticisms that the bill undermines health care, Saldivar made his position clear: “They’re making it seem like murdering babies is like, we have a right to this. We should be getting this paid for. No, the fact is, you kill unborn babies by the millions.”
Saldivar ended the video with a call to action for continued prayer and unwavering resolve. “Keep praying. Keep pushing,” he urged viewers. “The Lord has heard these cries. This is a huge W. Babies are going to be saved because of this.”
