Brown described the Oct. 7 massacre as “the most Jewish bloodshed in any single day since the Holocaust,” pointing to what he called a divine preservation of Israel amidst overwhelming odds. He also addressed widespread speculation that these events fulfilled end-times prophecy, clarifying, “I do not see this personally as fulfillment of specific biblical prophecy,” and noted that the conditions described in Ezekiel 38 and 39 have not yet come to pass.

The conversation also tackled the reliability and accountability of modern prophetic voices within the charismatic movement. Dr. Brown expressed concern about those prophesying outside their calling, stating, “We get outside of our lane,” and urged believers to focus more on the spiritual condition of the church rather than predicting political outcomes. He noted that even accurate prophecies about Donald Trump were often mishandled, saying, “Maybe God showed you a second term. It doesn’t mean you’re supposed to speak it.”
The pair also discussed the rise in antisemitism globally and even within some Christian circles. Dr. Brown identified the hatred as demonic, pointing to pro-Hamas rallies and theological positions like replacement theology as evidence of a deeper spiritual issue. He emphasized that while criticism of Israel’s policies is not inherently antisemitic, denying Israel’s right to exist or demonizing the Jewish people crosses a clear line.
