However, there appears to be a thread of light in the middle of darkness.
According to News18, 38-year-old Vishwash Kumar Ramesh is the sole survivor of this horrific incident. As India Today reported, Ramesh says he “heard a loud noise 30 seconds after take off” and that “there were bodies all around me.”
Yet, despite seeing this happen all around him, Ramesh found a way to jump from the emergency exit. Ramesh’s brother was also on the flight and has not been found.
“I came out of the plane…other passengers must be inside. The plane exploded,” Ramesh says.
In the midst of unspeakable tragedy, God still proves that He is the God who sees, who saves and who works wonders beyond human understanding. While our hearts grieve with the families of the 240 precious souls lost in this devastating crash, we cannot overlook the miracle of Vishwash Kumar Ramesh’s survival.
