After losing her husband of 60 years and dealing with health issues, Kay Robertson has been through lots of trials and tribulations lately. However, on a recent episode of the Unashamed podcast, Robertson’s son, Alan, gave a cheerful update on the family’s matriarch.
“Mom is staying in our compound,” Alan says. “Mom is there with us and so she’s been coming over. She is doing amazing, by the way. She’s had a huge bounce-back physically.”

Kay Robertson’s other son, Jase Robertson, also said that there’s been a lot of false information circulating the internet about her condition right now.
“A lot of my friends have sent me texts [saying] ‘sorry about your mom…’ and I’m like, ‘No, we just ate supper she’s doing really good.'”
Alan pointed to a conversation he had with his other brother, Willie Robertson, who took the blame for getting the internet concerned about Kay’s health.
“He said, ‘Well, this whole thing with mom, it was my fault. I did it. I started it,'” Alan quoted Willie.
According to Alan, Willie was doing a local interview for his new show when the reporter asked how his mother was doing. He answered by saying that in general, Kay’s health was not up-to-par, and that she had been upset following the death of her husband, Phil Robertson.
“But she’s really thriving and doing fantastic,” Alan says. “She’s been walking up the steps to my house. I mean, she’s doing things I didn’t know that she would do.”
Jase agreed that Kay is in much better shape than she was even six months ago.
