Are we awaiting a great disaster to come in just seven short years?
Recently, an asteroid was discovered that potentially could collide with earth in 2032.
The asteroid, 2024 YR4, has been noted as a “…nearly 200-foot space rock” and could “hit just before Christmas of 2032,” according to The Independent.

As of right now, a greater level of observation is necessary to see how this could affect earth.
This is “one of the highest probabilities of an impact from a significantly sized rock ever,” David Rankin from Catalina Sky Survey wrote online.
/**/While we should monitor this situation, Space.com reports that the asteroid has a “1-in-83 chance of striking Earth in December of 2032.”
With situations like this where we have very little control over what does and does not happen to us, it is key for Christians to remember we are not to live in fear, but rather to stand on the Word of God. Jesus warned us about the “signs in the heavens,” so we can look at these patterns and reflect on His imminent return. Above all else, we must continue living our lives full of faith instead of fear.
