- In a single year, Grand Canyon University was fined a staggering $37.7 million, and Liberty University was hit with $14 million in penalties — more than the total fines issued in the previous seven years combined.
- The average fine against Christian institutions for Clery Act violations? $815,000 — more than three times higher than the $228,571 average fine for secular public and private schools.
- At least 12 Christian colleges were subjected to either excessive penalties or complete removal from the federal student aid system. Not one Ivy League university received comparable treatment.
