Are the ancient mysteries surrounding Israel in the end times alive and active in our world today?
In an interview on TBN’s “Praise” with Eric Stakelbeck, Jonathan Cahn discussed the fascinating mysteries about Israel and the end days that he writes about in his newly-released book, “The Dragon’s Prophecy: Israel, the Dark Resurrection, and the End of Days.”

A couple of key areas which are critical to the last days include the Temple Mount and the red heifer sacrifice.
“The Temple Mount is like the ground zero of prophecy,” Cahn says. “That’s where it’s all going to come, the book of Revelation, the Temple’s going to be there, the Antichrist is going to desecrate it, sit as God there, so the devil wants it.”

Cahn points out that the Temple Mount is also where God will come back to rule and reign. This is why Satan wants to stop the fulfillment of biblical prophecy from happening as it will lead to his ultimate demise and destruction.
“Think about what’s happening,” he continues. “The enemy has made it so that no Jewish person is allowed to pray on that Mount, to have any kind of religious anything.”
Cahn says if anything were to touch the spot of the Temple Mount, it would wreak havoc.
“There were rumors that Jewish people wanted to…celebrate Passover on the mount and offer up a lamb,” says Cahn. “Hamas at that point said ‘You’re going to pay for this.'”
“The dragon’s saying, ‘Oh, you’re going to touch me? You’re going to move me from this Mount?…I’m going to strike you,'” he explains.
Israel was struck last year by Hamas on a day holy to the Jewish people after their desire to have Passover on the Mount was discovered beforehand. Another key element to what is happening today is the biblical sacrifice of the red heifers.
“This is part of the restoration of the temple,” Cahn says. “For the dragon, for the enemy, this is going to be a threat. Hamas even mentioned ‘those red cows’ was part of what happened.”
Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled all around us today, whether we realize it or not. Jesus promised He would come back. While we don’t know when he will return, we can use these signs as hallmarks of what to expect before Jesus comes.
