Since his baptism, actor, comedian and podcaster Russell Brand has been one of the loudest voices in the world proclaiming the goodness of Jesus to anyone who will listen.
Now, after the stunning 2024 presidential election victory of Donald Trump, Brand is working on exposing the lies being pushed as to why, while promoting a message of unity.

“If indeed it proves to be true, that this election was won by Trump in particular because of Hispanics and Black people, then they [the media] can’t even divide us by telling us that everyone is racist now,” says Brand.

Not denying the fact that there are racists in the world as well as others who live a variety of immoral lifestyles, Brand believes that human nature in general is a good one. From helping others to just leaving folks alone and minding ones own business, he feels this is a better representation of the world than what the media paints their adversaries as.
In this optimistic view of humanity, Brand prays that not just the supporters of Trump benefit from his victory, but all people will prosper from it.
“I pray that it [the election] is beneficial mostly for those people that were ardently opposing him [Trump], lying about him, saying that he was like Adolph Hitler…” says Brand.
“I hope…that was is actually now being augured, initiated and ignited is an America that is responsible and responsive to people,” he continues. “An America where each federation, each state will be as free as possible. Each community is free as possible. Each individual, as free as possible.
“Free to perform duty. Free to sacrifice yourself. Free to serve one another. Not just freedom to indulge in senseless wild pleasure, freedom to awaken to the possibility of a brand new America. At least that’s my prayer for all of you.”
Who knew an Englishman would turn into one of the leading voices for God and freedom in the United States of America? Let us all work to protect these God-given freedoms with as much zeal and passion as Russell Brand has demonstrated before the whole world.
