Kimberly Fletcher, mother of eight and founder and president of Moms for America® (MomsforAmerica.us), a national movement calling on moms to restore values such as motherhood, marriage, womanhood and patriotism, is concerned that for the most part, the majority of moms were not watching the presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden. As a result, they will only see what the mainstream media wants them to see—a negative view of Trump.
Says Fletcher, “They’ll be hearing selected sound bites on their social media feeds, and will only see how many times Trump interrupted, but won’t see the falsehoods and attacks; and they aren’t going to see the issues that matter to them.”
What issues matter most to moms? “Moms care about the protection and safety of our country. Moms want to be protected and have their kids protected—they want to be safe,” Fletcher says.
“Watching last night’s debate was an exercise in frustration,” Fletcher says. “President Trump was debating two opponents—Joe Biden, his presidential opponent, and Chris Wallace, the debate moderator. He was being attacked from two sides.”
“When the barbarians are at the gate, who do you want guarding the gate: a fighter and protector or a Trojan horse?” Fletcher asks.
“Moms want leadership—President Trump isn’t a pretender,” she adds. “He is who he is, and he fights for what he believes in, not just what will get him elected. If we look at the policies and principles the president supports and promotes, it is clear those are the same things moms care about. To quote Rose Tennent, ‘We didn’t need a saint; we have plenty of them. We didn’t need a Savior; we have the one and only. We needed a bodyguard, and by God, that’s what we got.’ As moms, we need to focus on what Trump has accomplished during his time in presidency. Because it’s everything we want.”
Fletcher reminds moms: “It’s time for moms to step up. Don’t walk away; don’t stay home! We need you now more than ever. Yes, the president is a fighter. He has to be, because he is the only one fighting for our values. And isn’t that what we want?”
These facts remain:
—About 2 million would have been dead from COVID-19 if Trump had initially listened to Biden’s plan of action at the beginning of the pandemic.
—Trump is opening schools; Biden wants to close them.
—Trump wants to open the economy; Biden wants to close down the economy during this pandemic.
President Trump is under brutal attack every minute of every day and still gets the job done! He keeps us safe and doesn’t take anything from anyone.
Trump has never pretended to be anything than who he is—start looking at what he’s doing; he has to be a fighter in order to get stuff done. All of these things he’s fighting for, we will not have unless he’s president.
