It’s Never Too Late!

Have you ever felt like you’d like to have a relationship with God, or wanted to come back into fellowship with Him, but thought you’d strayed too far away from Him or done too much … that it was just too late?

Well, this is something singer/songwriter/author Jonathan Cain knows something about. And he would say to you, “It’s never too late!”

Cain’s dad prophesied over him when he was only 8 years old that he would become famous and sing in front of thousands of people someday. Even though Cain had it in his heart to become a priest, he did not stay in union with the church and began to go another direction.

His search for who God really was in his life led him to write a song for Steve Perry, lead singer for the band Journey, and soon Jonathan was a part of that same world-famous band.

Cain has since come back into fellowship with his Savior, Jesus Christ, and has lots to say about faith, about learning to see God in all things, the role of leadership that he feels is missing in families today and where he gets his inspiration to write songs. You’ll also learn about an interesting aha! moment he once had during a time of prayer and reflection.

You might be surprised to learn also that Cain is married to a celebrated author and Bible teacher, and he lets you in on how they came to be a couple. Amidst his role as praise and worship leader in his home church, he is also involved with ongoing musical projects and tells about what’s next for him and for Journey.

Tune in to this encouraging and inspiring interview with Richard Roberts on Expect a Miracle wherever you get your podcasts. And as Cain’s dad always told him, “Never look back. Always move forward.” You can do this through the Lord, who is the God of a second chance.
