In a recent episode of Prophecy Watchers, host Brandon Holthaus sat down with Josh Peck to discuss the rapid rise in spiritual deception and technological advancement, warning that both may be linked to demonic influence.
Peck, who came out of the New Age movement, noted that many who interact with the spiritual realm, whether through psychedelics, occult practices or meditation, are receiving what they describe as downloads of advanced knowledge. This, they argue, is eerily similar to the knowledge once given by the fallen angels described in the Book of Enoch.

The pair emphasized that humanity is once again living in days comparable to those of Noah, with technology advancing at a rate that far exceeds natural explanation. Peck even suggested that this could be due to a gradual loosening of what the Bible refers to as “the restrainer,” traditionally understood to be the Holy Spirit working through believers.
As this restraint lifts, manifestations of the supernatural, such as UFO sightings and reports of cryptid creatures, are becoming more common and harder to dismiss.
Holthaus and Peck concluded that these developments point to a larger strategy of spiritual deception designed to prepare the world for a post-rapture era. They warned that people are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence, aliens and even self-worship to fill a spiritual void meant for God.
