Dr. Daniel King recounted that one night. He was in Sierra Leone, and the boy, about 7 years old, had been deaf for two years.
But something changed that night.
“He was deaf in his left ear,” Daniel says. “The mother placed her hand on the son’s ear, and as we were praying, a black rock-like growth fell out of the boy’s ear into her hand!” Jesus completely healed him. Claps and cheers thundered throughout the entire village.
As long as there is still a human need, Jesus is reaching out through miracles and revealing Himself to people in tangible ways. “Miracles are like the dinner bell that draws people to the banquet of heaven,” Daniel said on a recent episode of Revealing Jesus. “It reveals Jesus in a very tangible way to them.” They see the miracles, and they want to give their lives to a relevant God.
Whatever your need is today, Jesus is alive and still reaching out to you, revealing Himself in a way that more than meets your needs. Once you have encountered the living Jesus, no one can ever tell you He is not real. You will run with a burning passion, leading others to the magnificent Savior you’ve encountered.
