We were in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, when the Lord came and radically touched a group of teenagers.
People throughout the local area arrived at the services in need of hope, restoration, healing, a fresh touch from God and salvation. While ministering during the service, I had a word of knowledge that there were multiple people present with hip pain.
I asked these people to stand up, and 14 people rose to their feet, waiting to be touched by the living God. Instead of praying for them myself, however, I called forward all teenagers who wanted to be activated in the gift of healing.
First Peter 2:24 says, “He Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness. ‘By His wounds you were healed.'” What a sigh of relief to know that there is nothing we do to make someone get healed. Jesus bore our sickness, disease and wounds on the cross. It is up to Him to heal and touch people.
I called those teenagers forward, and 12 came up front, ready to be used by the Lord. Their fathers, mothers, grandparents and friends were standing in the crowd ready to receive healing in their bodies. What a beautiful sight to see teenagers, hungry for Jesus, walking up in faith and boldness to be used by God.
The younger generations are hungry for a move of God throughout the earth, and as men and women of faith, we must encourage the youth to step into their identities as sons and daughters of the King! Friends, the harvest is ripe. People are truly longing for hope and to meet the person of Jesus.
You are a temple of the living God, and every person you meet can be encountered by the Lord because He dwells inside of you. When we relinquish our own agenda, control and ideas on how we will move and surrender it all to Him, He will never disappoint.
