Richard Lorenzo Jr. recently had an unexpected encounter in Texas where a gas station cashier experienced the power of the Holy Spirit. Lorenzo’s brief conversation with the woman named Kathy quickly turned into a moment of divine intervention, emotional healing, and miraculous transformation.
As he struck up a conversation with Kathy, it became clear she was carrying deep emotional and physical burdens. “I stay in a hotel right now… I need something better. I need more money. I’m just tired,” she admitted, revealing her struggle with financial instability and pain in her feet rated at a 20 out of ten.

Recognizing a spiritual root to her hardship, Lorenzo offered prayer. “I feel like it’s a spirit… I could pray and break that off you in the name of Jesus.” Kathy, who described herself as a praying woman and believer, openly agreed to receive prayer and admitted she needed to rededicate her life to Christ.
What followed was a Spirit-led, powerful prayer over her life—breaking generational curses of poverty, rejection and pain.

“Try your feet out,” Lorenzo said. To her amazement, the pain dropped from a 20 to a one. “They really feel better. They were hurting, and they feel better,” Kathy testified. After a second prayer, the pain disappeared entirely, and she began to jump—something she said she couldn’t do moments earlier due to back pain.
Beyond the physical healing, Kathy experienced spiritual restoration. She prayed aloud, “Jesus, I repent. I give my life back to You.” Lorenzo revealed that God had sovereignly led them to that gas station. “I haven’t even been here 24 hours. The Holy Spirit said, ‘Stop. Turn. Go to this gas station.’ I don’t even need gas.”
Kathy, now tearful and visibly touched, rejoiced in her healing and deliverance, declaring, “Jesus wins… and the devil lose[s] all the time.”
