As we see more natural phenomena happening around us each day, we can look back at the forewarnings that just may have been given to the prophets about these coming storms.
Back on March 3, 2021, prophetic voice Charlie Shamp received a concerning dream, specifically about a storm that would hit the Tampa Bay area.

“I recently had a very concerning dream where I was taken in the spirit to the west coast of Florida,” Shamp writes. “It seemed that I was in the Saint Petersburg, Tampa Bay, Clearwater area. As I stood along the street the weather quickly began to change and a massive hurricane hit and flooding filled the streets. I along with many others were hit by a wall of water that went well over our heads. I quickly worked as hard as possible to get my head above water as I felt I was drowning.”
Shamp writes that he woke up from the dream, feeling its intensity.
“The dream felt so real that I was awakened by the intensity of it. I laid in my bed breathing deeply, gasping for breath and extremely overwhelmed by what I had just witnessed. This dream seemed to point to a warning of a natural storm that was looming and would require a great deal of prayer for protection of God’s people against what was to come.”
Other prophetic voices also gave warnings about dangerous weather as well.
Back in 2021, Chris Reed had a vision involving a large hurricane that would hit Florida’s west coast.
“Back in June 2021, Chris Reed had a vision about a major hurricane hitting the West coast of Florida. Particularly the St. Petersburg/Tampa areas,” the MorningStar School of the Prophets wrote on Facebook back in 2022.
Reed also took to YouTube recently to share what he believes is the fulfillment of some of these earlier weather-related prophecies.
“This one is from Nov. 18, 2022,” Reed says. “Saw weather extremes, fires in the West and flooding n the Eastern U.S. And of course, what you’re seeing happen right now in the Carolinas, oh my goodness, it’s like of biblical proportions. Here’s one more, Nov. 18, 2022, I saw a dam burst and cause real flooding issues.”
Now as Florida braces for Milton, there is one thing we as the body of Christ must do: Pray and prepare.
