NBC Interview Gives NFL Kicker a Chance to ‘Spread the Love of Jesus’
Move over Kurt Warner … there’s a new rags-to-riches NFL story taking the world by storm.
Now, obviously a kicker isn’t worth the same to an NFL team as a quarterback, but that doesn’t make this story any less cool.
To wit, the once-moribund Detroit Lions team continued its path to relevancy with a gutsy, come-from-behind road win on Sunday night, beating the Houston Texans 26-23 to improve to a sterling 8-1 record—including a perfect 5-0 on the road.
Chuck Pierce: Prophetic Word for a New Season
As we wrap up 2024 and enter into a new year and a new presidency, prophetic voice, Chuck Pierce, is giving a word of encouragement for our new season.
“Do not process the world around you from the world,” Pierce warns. “Because we’re not conformed to this world. Our minds are transformed. And we need to keep our minds transformed so when we’re walking in the world we evaluate it properly.”
One of the key reasons Pierce gives for staying transformed is so that we as God’s people can move forward and progress toward God’s promise of the fruitful land.
