After fighting to pass her college English courses and being told she was never going to write professionally, Rebecca Greenwood says she sat in front of her computer, and said, “Holy Spirit, if this is part of my destiny, anoint me to write these books.”
Since then, she has written nine books and just sent off the final edits for her 10th. Hear her amazing testimony of how she has overcome the limitations or disqualifications the world tried to set on her on a recent episode of Victorious Prophetic Warfare on the Charisma Podcast Network.
Greenwood believes a vital tool for unlocking the overcomer spirit within you, now more than ever, is praying the prayer, “Lord, awaken and increase my discernment. Lord, let me know when things that are being spoken are true. Let me know when things that are being spoken are false. Lord, let me discern Your best. Let me see from Your perspective and not from the world.”
Greenwood put this prayer into action after a prayer gathering at her church when, Greenwood says, “I heard a spirit of death in the passenger seat directly behind me in my car.”
It said to her, “If you don’t stop praying, I’m going to kill you. And I’m going to kill your family.”
And she said, “All right, spirit of death, you will leave my car; you will never come back. You will not come back on me, nor will you harass my family, my husband or my children. Get out and go now, in Jesus’ name.”
Greenwood goes on to say, “Listen, friends, that spirit has not ever returned to torment me since that time.”
