We are in a time of reformation. Heaven is releasing new builders armed with kingdom building plans.
I heard the words in my spirit, “I am giving new building plans for My exploits and advance!” These heaven-commissioned builders may be those never thought to come to the forefront. They will be people who have been, like David, in a season of seeking and encountering the glory of God in wilderness places.
The church is now in a Nehemiah 2:18 season to arise and build. Here are six ways that season will manifest.
Look for emerging apostolic generals. I believe there is a rise of a new breed of builders. They will build new models, teams, churches and hubs and birth new moves. Let me be clear: This is not a replacement of previous leaders but an extension of what they have built.
This emerging breed must be willing to correct false teaching and character flaws just as the early church apostles did. This comes from a place of authentic love for God’s people. There is a proper protocol in implementing such correction. We can no longer afford to have apostolic leaders remain silent in the midst of false teaching, terrible character and all means of deception. Many have been afraid of losing ministry opportunities, notoriety or following, but God is bringing a conviction about purity, honesty and integrity in this building.
Many are being called to build wells. These are churches, hubs or ministry centers with unusual revelation, power and function. I remember places where you could go to receive a healing, deliverance and equipping. These places are hard to find today. Unfortunately, they have been replaced by consumer-driven church models focusing on human wisdom and ideas, numbers and filled seats, void of power and demonstration.
The church must continue to confront as an extension of reform. This is a season where long-standing manifestations of sexism, ageism and racism in the church are being exposed and addressed. This is next-level spiritual warfare that has been established and overseen by principalities. It functions within all mountains of society and generates fierce blowback when addressed. Things will get messy before there is progress, but the hard confrontations are necessary. There have been many gatherings and events marketed as a representation of the global prophetic community yet lacking a racially diverse lineup of speakers. God is raising up bold and strong voices who will expose this. It is a Jeremiah 1 mandate: Tear down before building up.
Greater declaration and understanding of the kingdom mandate is emerging. In many ways, we are standing at a spiritual crossroads. We are somewhat in between moves, looking for what is next. I believe an understanding of the kingdom, the power and complexity of this spiritual truth is critical to unlocking the next move. We have been lulled to sleep by prophetic paradigms that continually point to something yet cause us to be stuck in limbo, waiting. Many times, we are waiting on what already belongs to us as citizens of the kingdom.
Shamar prophets are arising. There will be an increase in prophets who warn, watch and expose. This is crucial for the preservation of the people of God. Shamar means to watch, guard, keep and preserve—to be a watchman.
Song of Solomon 3:3 says, “The watchmen found me, as they went about the city. ‘Have you seen him whom my soul loves?'”
I saw the Lord divinely linking wise, mature prophets with rising apostles. He is establishing kingdom alignments to protect the assignment and the oil that are being given for this hour. The prophets will serve as guardians in the Spirit over the apostolic plans and mission. They will reveal and warn as needed. This type of operation will not succeed if there is a breach in character or trust between the apostles and prophets.
Healing and miracle ministry is being restored and accelerated. I have had several vivid dreams and encounters about the Lord restoring the move of the miraculous. Jesus made an impact by what He did as much as what He said. We spend hours talking and teaching with little movement. It is time for a radical surge of miracle power and wonders.
These are exciting times. God wants to move in the nations. Let’s rise up and fearlessly obey Him. Let’s steward the glory of God, build new moves and proclaim the King, the kingdom and all of His glory.
