California stands at a critical crossroads—a pivotal moment in America’s spiritual destiny that demands the attention and prayers of every intercessor, believer and church across the nation.
A powerful prophetic word from Tomi Arayomi has come forth declaring that what happens in California over the next five to ten years will significantly influence the course of the United States as a whole.

The Lord is shaking the mountains of California, signaling a season of upheaval and purification. As the Arayomi states, “God is shaking every mountain in this hour,” and “just like He did in Notre Dame, just like He did with the fires in Paris, he’s going to do it again here to prove that He will not be mocked.” This shaking is not only natural disasters or political unrest but a divine stirring designed to awaken the church and the land.
This year’s fires, riots and turmoil facing in the state are not merely distractions. Arayomi warns, “There are fires, there are riots, there are things happening in California right now to serve as a distraction. And the enemy wants the church to so focus on the news of the world that we’re missing the times that we’re living in right now.” Instead, this is a season of excavation, where God is “unearthing and undigging and excavating the wells of revival.”
Arayomi’s word also takes us back to the 1970s—a decade of profound cultural change in California and the world. His prophecy states, “Cal, I am taking you back to the 70s… I’m writing the wrong that you caused around the world when you created not the modern world but the modern catastrophe.” Yet God promises to redeem and restore: “I will do again in 2025 what I did in the 70s, and I will make you a contender again—from contention. I will raise up the contender again for good.”
Hollywood is called out as a key spiritual battlefield. Arayomi’s word declares, “I will redeem my mountain. And I will set Calvary on your mountain again, oh Hollywood.” The prophetic message encourages believers in the entertainment industry: “You were not wrong. You were just early… This will be the hour where the scripts I made you write in secret will find their public voice.” God intends to “fill your blockbusters with my blood and my name and my stories and my parables,” making Hollywood a “weapon in my hand.”
The prophecy also warns of pride and complacency that threaten the state: “Watch as pride becomes the fall of pride… I will begin to gut out even your pride parades until they are a shell of what they once were.” California is described as “the gatekeepers of the sea” facing spiritual warfare against the “marine spirit, Leviathan,” but God promises deliverance and revival.

Arayomi’s word closes with a powerful call to the faithful remnant: “I am calling not for the California church. I am calling for the California remnant and those principal shepherds… I will give a voice to whistle in the wind and the remnant will gather.” The coming years are a season for deep spiritual awakening if the church will rise to the call.
